Eligibility Requirements for Study in Canada

To be eligible for study in Canada, you need to fulfill the following requirements.

  • You are required to have sufficient funds to pay for your Tuition fees, Living expenses for yourself and any family member accompanying you to Canada.
  • Have been accepted by any designated learning institute in Canada
  • Be in good health and ready to complete any medical examination

Work during or after study

Full-time post-secondary students may work without a work permit on the campus of the university or college at which they are full-time students.

Students can work off-campus in Canada while they are in Canada as a student. This may require a Work Permit depending on your criteria. there are some basic requirements for off-campus work

  • You are enrolled in an academic program of at least six months in duration.
  • You are a full-time student, studying at a designated learning institute.
  • You can work up to 20 hours per week during your academic sessions and work full-time during your scheduled breaks.
